After an apocalyptic virus destroys 99 percent of the world's population, a Utopian society is formed and exists for centuries. The governing body begins abusing its authority, as evidenced by disappearing young women. An underground movement tries to resist the government. The top operative for the resistance is a woman named Aeon Flux. The MPAA rates the film "PG-13" for violence and sexual content. Futuristic handguns and machine guns are fired. Two government soldiers fire machine guns at a train in an attempt to kill fugitives. Innocent passengers are slaughtered in the process. Blood is shown flowing from numerous wounds in many scenes. Because of futuristic medicine and technology, most people recover from their wounds. Martial-arts-style fighting is featured in several scenes. Two women battle in a laboratory where they smash each other against broken glassware. A woman uses her bare hands to strangle a man into unconsciousness. A man and woman are shown in a passionate embrace that leads to them undressing. A woman is shown in very revealing underwear.
