MovieDescription: 16 BLOCKS Cast: Bruce Willis, Dante 'Mos Def' Smith, David Morse, David Zayas, David Sparrow. Directed by Richard Donner. A down-and-out cop in the last years of his career is assigned to take a prisoner from jail to court 16 blocks away. Unknown to the police officer is that the prisoner is supposed to testify about corruption in the police department. The cops who could be hurt by his testimony have planned to kill the witness before he can get to court. The MPAA rates this film "PG-13" for violence and language. Police officers fire handguns at each other. Several people are wounded, though none are killed. Blood is shown coming from numerous wounds on different individuals. A man is threatened with assassination. A bus full of people, including a child, is taken hostage. Some strong language and profanity are used. Alcohol is consumed in many scenes including by an on-duty police officer.
