MovieDescription: AMERICAN DREAMZ Cast: Hugh Grant, Dennis Quaid, Mandy Moore, Chris Klein, Willem Dafoe, Sam Golzari. Directed by Paul Weitz. This film is a spoof on current American pop culture, the political administration in power, and global events. Divergent storylines meet when a dim-witted U.S. president looking to improve his approval ratings agrees, at the urging of his overbearing advisor, to be the guest judge on the number-one-ranked TV talent search show. The MPAA has rated this film PG-13 for language and sexual references. The film contains a few instances of extremely strong profanity and many more of moderate profanity and slang expressions. The film includes several verbal references to sexuality, including denigrating depictions of homosexuals and references to casual sex and masturbation. While no nudity is shown on-screen, one scene clearly indicates that a man and woman have a casual sexual affair and they make reference to it in later scenes. The film also contains scenes of violence, including the use of machine guns in the filming of a terrorist training video. In another scene a bomb is detonated, killing two people, and the sound of the explosion and the after-effects are all that are seen.
