MovieDescription: 28 WEEKS LATER Cast: Jeremy Renner, Harold Perrineau Jr., Robert Carlyle, Rose Byrne, Catherine McCormack. Directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. In this horror sequel, it's been six months since the "rage" virus swept the British Isles and reconstruction has begun and refugees are returning home. But as one family is reunited, one of them carries a deadly secret. The virus, thought to be dead, is still active and this time, more dangerous than ever. The MPAA rates this film R for strong violence and gore, language and some sexuality/nudity. Strong language and profanity are used throughout. Characters do not use or abuse alcohol or drugs. Female nudity occurs in two scenes. A womans bare breasts are seen as she makes love to a man, and a woman in a decontamination shower is seen naked in a full-length shot. Violence and gore, with lots of blood take the stage as people become sick with the virus, which causes them to become cannibalistic and gouge out the eyes of the people they are attacking. Killing is commonplace, with rifles, machine guns, fire bombs and flame throwers. People are sometimes set on fire while alive. Dozens are chopped up by helicopter blades. Infected parents perpetrate violent acts against their own children. A young girl shoots her infected father.
