MovieDescription: FOREVER STRONG Cast: Sean Faris, Gary Cole, Sean Astin, Neal McDonough, Penn Badgely, Arielle Kebbel. Directed by Ryan Little. Based on true events, a troubled teenage rugby player with an overly aggressive father/coach lands in a juvenile detention facility after repeated convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol. The counselor at the facility secures a spot for him on a local rugby team, the defending national champions, in an effort to get through to the boy. He grows and changes into a more responsible, mature young man. The MPAA has rated this film PG-13 for thematic material involving teen drug and alcohol use and some disturbing images. The film contains no verbal profanity, but the use of obscene hand gestures is depicted. Several scenes of rough rugby action are portrayed. Players are bloodied and injured during play. During one particularly rough interchange, an opponent's tooth is pulled out of a player's head wound. Drunk driving is portrayed in several scenes, with serious consequences. A car accident results in the death of a teenage boy engaged in an act of compassion toward a fellow driver. The boy's body lies in a pool of blood in the street. Drug use is referred to verbally and scenes show a teenage boy taking illegally acquired prescription drugs. Scenes of unchaperoned teenage partying and drinking are featured. Teenagers are depicted as intoxicated. Brief crude humor is included.
