MovieDescription: 500 DAYS OF SUMMER Cast: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zooey Deschanel. Directed by Marc Webb. In this love story, a morose young man looking for the girl of his dreams believes he has found her in the new office assistant. For 500 days he experiences immense highs and intense lows that cause him to evaluate his life and actions, ultimately leading him to take initiative and change his life for the better. The MPAA rates the film "PG-13" for sexual material and language. An unmarried couple embrace, kiss and are shown together in bed. After watching a movie selected from the adult section of a video store the couple is enticed to try a sexual encounter in the shower. While no nudity is shown, conversation and the destruction of a shower curtain are suggestive. A well-endowed man is shown in skin tight pants with the camera focusing on his genitals. Crude sexual dialogue occurs between men discussing women. Some references to homosexuality are heard. Sexual slang is frequently heard. Mild to moderate language and profanity is used in the film. Adults drink alcohol to the point of drunkenness. No drugs are used in the film. Two men exchange punches, leaving one man with a slightly bloody fat lip.
