MovieDescription: A KNIGHT’S TALE Cast: Heath Ledger, Shannon Sossamon, Mark Addy, Alan Tudyk and Paul Bettany Directed by Brian Helgeland. This film is about a young commoner in 14th-century France who grows up the servant of a knight. One day the knight is killed and the young man puts on the knight’s armor, steps into the jousting ring and wins. Afterwards he assumes the knight's identity until one day when he is knighted in his own right. The MPAA rates this film “PG-13” for action violence, some nudity, and brief sex-related dialogue. This movie contains a few instances of strong language, but no profanity. A man is seen from behind walking down a road, completely naked. Sexual dialogue centers around characters helping a young man write a letter to his lady friend. They ponder whether he should tell her she has nice breasts. With the exception of kissing, lovemaking occurs off-camera. Violence includes a scene in which people are hanging from a gallows. Jousting and sword-fighting are violent, but there is little blood.
