MovieDescription: SUPERHERO MOVIE Cast: Drake Bell, Sara Paxton, Christopher McDonald, Pamela Anderson, Tracy Morgan, Regina Hall, Marion Ross, Leslie Nielsen. Directed by Craig Mazin. In this spoof comedy, a genetically altered dragonfly bites a nerdy boy, endowing him with some supernatural abilities. He struggles with his new powers and innate clumsiness to transform himself into a superhero and fight crime in his hometown. The MPAA has rated this film PG-13 for crude and sexual content, comic violence, drug references and language. The language in the film includes a constant stream of moderate profanity. Sexual slang and terminology are also used. Crude sexual humor is made throughout the film. Direct references and allusions to sexual activity are included. A man is shoving a dead body into a cabinet in a forceful way to make it look as if he is having sex with her. Strong implications of necrophilia also occur at a graveside funeral. Couples are depicted kissing and in bed together several times. Other crude humor includes bathroom habits, animal feces, vomiting and flatulence sounds. In another scene a boy urinates like a lawn sprinkler, nearly missing a man. Comic violence is constant throughout the movie. Several animals are depicted as being killed in graphic ways. In one scene a car pulls up to the curb and dead bodies fall off it while it is trailing a swingset with children in it, indicating the driver took a shortcut through a playground. Substance use includes comic references to illegal drugs and alcohol.
