In the sixth Harry Potter film, high-school-age witches- and wizards-in-training battle against the forces of darkness. The wizarding world is in turmoil as dark wizards attack at will, leaving death and destruction in their wake. The MPAA rates the film "PG" for scary images, some violence, language and mild sensuality. Magical people use spells and potions to attack and injure people. A young man is rendered bloody by a spell. A man cuts his own hand and wipes it across a wall as part of a spell. Young people are poisoned and cursed, leaving them thrashing about and struggling for life. A man falls from a great height and is shown immobile and presumably dead. Young people are attacked by adults. Some mild language and slang are heard in the film. Young couples profess their love for each other and then set about kissing and embracing. Some further intimacy is intimated but not explicitly displayed. Teens consume drinks that make them appear slightly intoxicated. Magic is a key feature of the film, with good and bad outcomes resulting from its use.
