MovieDescription: THE TIME TRAVELERS WIFE Cast: Rachel McAdams, Eric Bana, Arliss Howard, Ron Livingston, Stephen Tobolowsky. Directed by Robert Schwentke. In this drama, a man has the unique ability to travel, uncontrollably, across the time and space continuum. He travels back and forth through time, carrying on a romance with a woman who eventually becomes his wife. The MPAA has rated this film PG-13 for thematic elements, brief disturbing images, nudity and sexuality. The film contains some mild to moderate profanity. A man travels through time, but his clothes do not go with him, leaving him naked at his destination. The films nudity is primarily scenes of a mans bare backside. A woman also bares her naked backside with a brief glimpse of her breasts as she dresses after having sex in one scene. Casual sex between an unmarried couple is depicted. Scenes also briefly show characters groping and undressing each other. A man has a vasectomy without his wifes knowledge. Brief disturbing images include a few scenes of a woman who is bleeding due to a miscarriage and a man who has been shot and is dying. A disturbing scene of a woman dying in a fiery automobile crash is replayed more than once. Characters throw punches in a street fight. One scene depicts a man in the hospital who is about to lose his leg due to gangrene.
