MovieDescription: FUNNY PEOPLE Cast: Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann. Directed by Judd Apatow. In this comedy, a celebrity comedian is diagnosed with a terminal illness, causing him to re-evaluate his life choices. He hires a young, aspiring comic as an assistant and the two become fast friends. The MPAA has rated this film R for language, crude sexual humor and some sexuality. The film includes excessive use of strong profanity and sexual slang. Strong profanity is used casually by parents in front of their young children. Numerous crude sexual references are made regarding genitalia, sexual acts, masturbation and homosexuality. Several scenes of casual sexual activity are included. Couples are graphically depicted engaging in intercourse in at least three different scenes. Nudity includes a womans bare breasts. Other couples are depicted engaging in sexual activity under bed sheets. Casual sexual hook-ups are commonplace. A woman commits adultery and several scenes include discussions of infidelity. One character is shown consuming illegal drugs using a pipe. Adults drink alcohol and smoke socially. Fighting breaks out briefly with punches received by several characters but without serious injuries. Crude humor regarding bodily functioning is also included.
