MovieDescription: EXTRACT Cast: Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis, Kristen Wiig, Ben Affleck, J.K. Simmons, Gene Simmons. Directed by Mike Judge. In this comedy, Joel has fallen into a rut working at his flavor extract factory. He is only a step away from selling out to a major corporation when a freak accident on the production line threatens his dreams of retiring on easy street. The MPAA has rated this film R for language, sexual references and drug use. Strong language including profanity, sexual references and innuendo and derogatory references to characters are used. Joel and his wife have lost interest in marital relations with each other and have settled into a boring routine at home. At the factory, workers cause a back-up on the assembly line that ends in a serious accident for a long-time employee. Cindy, an opportunistic grifter, aware that her good looks are a distraction to men, supports herself with petty theft, but manages to land a job at the factory and insinuate herself into the lives of Joel and the factory workers in an effort to cash in on a potential financial settlement. Joel gets high on marijuana and is beaten up. Virtually none of the characters suffers consequences for infidelity, theft, drug use, laziness, or executing their jobs poorly.
