MovieDescription: TAKING WOODSTOCK Cast: Dan Fogler, Demetri Martin, Imelda Staunton, Henry Goodman, Jonathan Groff, Emile Hirsch, Eugene Levy. Directed by Ang Lee. Based on the true story, the film provides the background for how the infamous 1969 Woodstock concert ended up happening in White Lake, New York. The MPAA has rated this film R for graphic nudity, sexual content, drug use and language. Moderate to very strong profanity is used repeatedly throughout the film. Rough humor is made towards Jewish people, along with some anti-Semitic remarks and symbolism. Brief crude humor regarding bestiality is made. Nudity occurs in several scenes in the film. Both males and females in large groups display full frontal nudity. Individuals are depicted having sexual relations in several instances, often graphically and typically in public. One scene graphically portrays two men and a woman engaging in sexual intercourse. Homosexual and lesbian kissing is shown in several scenes and in one scene two men wake up in bed together. Adults and children are nude as they bathe in a lake. Many instances of drug use occur in the movie, including people smoking marijuana and taking acid. Several scenes graphically depict characters in altered states from drug use. Illegal drugs are openly sold without ramification, including in front of a police officer. An elderly couple is among those who eat hashish brownies and get high as a result. Many other scenes depict characters drinking alcohol and smoking tobacco. Mild to moderate fighting occurs in some scenes. Characters protect themselves and others using baseball bats, fists and guns.
