In the continuing story of the Jigsaw Killer, the new installment has his protégé, a cop-turned-killer, continuing the killing, and covering his tracks. Gruesome torture is used to make the unjust suffer as well as show them the suffering of innocent people. Inescapable Catch-22 situations lead to the destruction of peoples bodies. The MPAA rates the film "R" for bloody violence and torture, and language. To make up for past wrongs, two people must dismember and mutilate their own bodies with knives and a cleaver. A playground merry-go-round becomes a roulette wheel where people are eventually shot with a shotgun. To save his own life a man must make a series of choices that cause him injury and also make him watch the torture and death of others. A man is injected with acid and eventually melts in half, spilling his entrails on the floor. A man is electrocuted. A woman is repeatedly stabbed. Blood sprays, spatters and flows in many scenes. An autopsied body is shown flayed open on a table. An assault on a woman causes the miscarriage of her unborn child. Strong and profane language is heard in many scenes. A woman and her teenage son get to take vengeance on an insurance executive who denied their health care claim, resulting in the husband's death.
