MovieDescription: MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS Cast; George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Spacey. Directed by Grant Heslov. The film spoofs the historic fear of Soviet research into psychological warfare and has the United States create a unit called the New Earth Army. The unit uses psychic powers to combat the enemy. The effort takes the leaders into experimentation with drugs as well as other controversial tactics that lead to questionable outcomes. During the Iraq War a veteran of the New Earth Army leads a reporter to uncover unethical use of psychic powers and abuse of civilians. The MPAA rates the film R for language, drug content and nudity. Strong language is frequently used in the film. Some profanity and derogatory slang are also heard. Soldiers and civilians use LSD, marijuana and other drugs to enhance their psychic abilities, as well as for the euphoria. Handguns and machineguns are fired, with many people being hit. Some blood is shown on clothing. A goat is shown falling over and is said to have died. A car is destroyed by a roadside bomb, though the occupants sustain only minor injuries. Womens bare breasts are shown while they are in a hot tub. The bare backsides of men are shown in multiple scenes.
