MovieDescription: THE WOLFMAN Cast: Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving. Directed by Joe Johnston. In this remake, a man returns to his childhood home upon the mysterious death of his brother. He had been estranged from his home since witnessing the bloody death of his mother when he was only a child. The mystery deepens around his father and his brothers beautiful fiancée as more people die from the attack of a monster that roams the moor. The MPAA rates the film R for violence and gore. A werewolf attacks people using fangs and claws. Bodies are ripped apart on screen. Limbs, heads and body parts litter the scenes. The monster uses its teeth to bite and tear. Organs are pulled from bodies by the animals mouth, sometimes while the victim screams in agony. The physical transformation from human to animal is dramatic as the body deforms. Handguns and rifles are fired with sprays of blood as the bullets hit their mark. Pools of blood surround victims and stain clothing. A childlike werewolf is shown in multiple scenes. An unmarried couple is shown embracing and kissing in a few scenes. The woman is shown topless and from behind, with the outline of her breast revealed. Men are shown shirtless. There is no nudity or other sexuality. An institutionalized man is subjected to barbaric mental health treatment. Mild language and profanity are used in the film. References to magic and spiritual themes are made. Alcohol and tobacco are used in the film.
